Brian, Value Added Assembler

Brian is a Value Added Assembler in our Value Added Department and has been working at Automation, Inc. for 23 years. Our Value Added Department does a variety of assemblies, subassemblies, and modifications with the products that Automation, Inc. provides. Brian helps quote, design, assemble, and document all of these assemblies.

Brian, how has your background helped you in the Value Added Department?

“I grew up in a family with a strong work ethic. I started out working on a Truck (Vegetable) Farm bunching radishes in 7th grade. I feel my attitude at work is everything. I try to take my job serious, but myself not so much.”

What is your favorite thing about working at Automation, Inc?

"The variety of products that I get to work with makes everyday a learning experience. It also helps to enjoy the people I work with.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“Spring is coming and I am looking forward to expanding our vegetable garden this year. I enjoy yardwork, reading, playing cards with family and friends, and making people laugh.”

What is one thing people may find suprising about you?

"My wife does stand-up comedy. She will be competing in the "Funniest Person with a Day Job" at the Mall of America next month."

"I have an idea for something like the pet rock. A 'Think Outisde of the Box' box. It's a box, with question marks and little light bulbs that go on and off on the outside of the box. I also like to watch Kung Fu repeats (Office Space)."
