Apera AI's Vue Robotic Vision Software

Unlock new levels of productivity and uptime by integrating Apera’s 4D Vision technology with the robotics in your facility.  Vision driven by AI makes robotic cells more reliable and productive and you can now use vision-guided robotics with less expertise and risk.

Fast, reliable robotic guidance – Apera AI learns your parts so that the robot can take the fastest, safest, most reliable path to handle the parts.  Since the AI understands how the object has been picked up, it can precisely and accurately place it or assemble it with another object.

Industry leading total vision cycle time – In as little as 0.3 seconds, Vue can identify an object to pick and provide movement instructions to the robot.

Light resilience – works in all lighting conditions:  bright, dark, outside or in variable conditions without special equipment.

No vision expertise needed – Vue trains your task into Apera’s AI ahead of installation.  A vision ready program is returned to you tuned for high performance.

Autopilot – Apera Autopilot enables the robot to take the best path in and out of a movement.  The robot will avoid collisions in its environment, such as the movement out of a deep bin with the object in hand.  Autopilot is also protection against singularities where robots lose the ability to move one or more joints.

Dexterity – AI can tell the robot how to grasp an object with two-finger gripping without interfering with the items around an object.  Users can define the pickable points of an object with the vision system understanding the orientation of the object in the robot’s grasp.  This enables the object to be precisely placed or oriented for another manufacturing step.
