Captron’s TCP (tool center point) measurement technology is designed to ensure maximum precision for tool calibration with reproducibility of .01 mm in a variety of robotic applications.  Incorrect measurements due to reflecting laser beams are prevented by measuring the X and Y-axes at staggered intervals.  Both metallic and non-metallic objects are reliably detected in applications such as dispensing, bonding, welding, and soldering.
