Designed for use in a variety of robotic applications, Captron’s TCP  (tool center point) measurement technology ensures maximum precision for tool calibration with reproducibility of .01 mm.  Incorrect measurements due to reflecting laser beams are prevented by measuring the X and Y-axes at staggered intervals.  Both metallic and non-metallic objects are reliably detected in applications such as dispensing, bonding, welding, and soldering.
