Roller Modules
ROEQ offers several top roller modules to transfer loads between conveyors using MiR autonomous mobile robots. To ensure safety and security of goods and people, the rollers are braked during transport and there are built-in barriers to protect fingers from getting caught in the rollers. Auto top rollers are available for transferring between stations of different heights.
The ROEQ GuardCom system secures the connection between the robot and the static conveyor, ensuring reliable transfers, with lower cycle time and decreased downtime.
Three types of built-in optical sensors help to ensure the safe pick up and transfer of goods:

Position Sensors ensure that the packages are only leaving or onboarding the roller module when the robot is positioned correctly in front of the stationary conveyor station

Front Cargo Sensors monitor packages to ensure that they are safely on board before the robot takes off and during transport

Rear Cargo Sensors detect and prevent packages from rolling off the top roller, the robot will not move if packages are not correctly placed
